Testing the quality of data transmission in digital wireless communication systems in a simulated electromagnetic environment


The evaluation of data transmission quality in wireless systems carried out in laboratory conditions consists in the simulation of coexistence of newly-built wireless systems or commercially available systems implemented in industrial environments, technological lines, control and automation systems, with a number of radio transmitting devices which may operate in their environment, such as public broadcasting systems, audio and video systems, governmental and amateur short-range radio communication systems, mobile phone and digital data transmission systems 3G, 4G, UMTS, and especially local wireless data transmission networks in 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, such as WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, as well as with all other sources of strong electromagnetic fields in radio frequencies from long waves to microwaves.

Service delivery phases


The client receives a report containing information on identified weaknesses, which allows to develop guidelines for system modifications of the wireless system under construction or implemented, changes in the controlled process or device, modifications to the software of the radio and/or executive part, or a complete change of the adopted concept at the pre-implementation stage, thanks to which it can avoid potential losses, which are difficult to estimate, if a vulnerability appears in the real environment, especially after the implementation, start of the production process, control or monitoring of a real industrial facility.
