Consulting/Training in Operation and Use of Machine Tools for the Transformational Maintenance of Production Processes
Description
This consulting and training service includes practical preparation for working with conventional machine tools – lathes and milling machines.
Participants learn occupational safety (OHS), the basics of technical drawing, document analysis, and creating machining plans. The practical part includes learning how to operate lathes and milling machines: clamping parts and tools, selecting cutting parameters, and performing operations such as turning, drilling, threading, and milling. The classes also cover the basics of workshop metrology and the use of measuring instruments.
The training is an excellent introduction to becoming a turner or miller, combining theory with practice in safe conditions.
